Hey, I’m Alexa—a neuro-spicy creator, cat mom, and tinkerer who finds joy in asking why.

I’m a Principal Product Designer with 12+ years of experience turning messy, ambiguous problems into products that feel clear, human, and usable in the real world.

I specialize in systems thinking, cross-platform design, and zero-to-one work, especially when teams are figuring things out as they go. I’ve led launches and redesigns across large consumer platforms, built foundations for new products, and helped teams move faster by creating shared language early through prototypes, experiments, and playable artifacts.

What sets me apart isn’t just craft. It’s how I work. I’m deeply collaborative, comfortable getting into the weeds with engineers, and often act as connective tissue between design, product, and development. I like to ask why before how, slow teams down just enough to take the right risks, and then help them ship with confidence.

I care deeply about humanity in products and in teams. I advocate for inclusive, accessible design, psychological safety, and building environments where curiosity and trust lead to better work. When people feel supported and aligned, it shows in what we build.

Outside of work, I’m a lifelong gamer and creative tinkerer who enjoys experimenting with new tools, especially AI, as a way to explore ideas, learn faster, and bring people together around the process.
